DO YOU ALWAYS WORK TOGETHER?
Yes! We have worked together since day one. We work off of each other’s energy and have created a style of photographing a wedding in tandem that our couples love.
HOW DID YOU TWO MEET?
We met at UBC. Jeff was doing his undergrad in Visual Arts and Cat was taking an elective in his class. He thought she was Australian (which she’s not) and we all had a laugh. The rest is history.

WHAT IS YOUR APPROACH TO WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY?
Our goal is to capture your day as authentically and honestly as possible. True candid moments and beautifully casual portraits come together to create a library of images that bring you right back to the day.
DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH LGBTQ+ WEDDINGS?
Absolutely! We’re in this for love and nothing else!
WHAT DO WE RECEIVE AFTER THE WEDDING?
No matter what customizations you make to your package, you will always receive an online gallery with all your images (no watermarks and ready to print and post). Other items like prints, albums etc. will depend on your package.
TYPICALLY HOW LONG DO WE NEED A PHOTOGRAPHER FOR?
To really capture the story of the day, we like to start around the time everyone is getting ready and finish when everybody hits the dance floor or just after your last planned event for the evening. Most of our couples get coverage for around 8-10 hours.
CAN I MAKE MY OWN PRINTS?
Knock yourself out! Your online gallery is connected to our private print shop. We use the best professional print labs in Canada and the US so the quality of the products are awesome! You’re also welcome to download your images and print them where ever you like.
HOW MANY WEDDING IMAGES WILL WE RECEIVE?
The number of images depends on a number of factors, but usually the main one is the number of hours we’re present for. Typically our couples receive anywhere from 500-700 images.
HOW LONG UNTIL WE RECEIVE OUR IMAGES?
Wedding images are delivered within four to six months and usually less than one to two months for engagement images.
WHAT IS THE PAYMENT SCHEDULE?
A deposit of 50% of your package secures the date and our services. Final payment is due thirty days before your wedding.
DO YOU TAKE FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHS AT THE WEDDING?
You probably noticed there aren’t many family photographs with people standing in a line on our site. That’s because they aren’t that interesting to look at. But that doesn’t mean they’re not important! We always schedule time during your day (usually after the ceremony) to get those family photos in.
ENGAGEMENT
WHEN DO ENGAGEMENT SESSIONS HAPPEN?
Comfort is surprisingly the most important thing we’ve found when it comes to engagement photographs. It’s usually the first time people have been photographed together. To that end, we suggest picking a time of year where the weather is warmer. April through October is usually a good bet!
WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR/BRING TO AN ENGAGEMENT SESSION?
That’s totally up to you, but our suggestion would be your best casual clothes. Imagine what you might wear to your friend’s 30thbirthday party, being hosted in their parent’s beautiful backyard. Think fun and fancy occasion but casual setting. LOL did that help or make things worst? Also we do usually walk around quite a bit so bear that in mind when choosing your shoes.
EQUIPMENT
WHAT KIND OF EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE?
We use professional Canon equipment. The best cameras and lenses, always. We use the 5D MarkIV cameras and an array of ‘L’ series lenses.
WITH DIGITAL MEDIA, HOW DO YOU PROTECT MY IMAGES FROM LOSS OR DAMAGE?
We protect your images four times over! Throughout a wedding, we load our memory cards onto our Macbook so we have three running copies of all your images (dual redundancy in camera and one extra copy on our laptop). At the end of the day our Macbook does a backup and makes another version of all your images, which gets stored off site. Everyone’s happy when your pictures are safe!
