Wedding Day BTS✨- Cat and I were working together to create a hero image for our bride and groom. We made it out to this beautiful lake surrounded by mountains and knew we had to take advantage of the grand landscape.

The veil toss is a great way to add a little drama to any moment, so we knew we wanted to do that but had to workshop the poses. We always start simple and then add layers on top depending on what’s working.

These two were awesome so everything they did looked great. We started with holding hands and looking at each other. Then we went with the bride wrapping her arms around the shoulder of the groom. Finally we had her use her hands, place them on the groom's face and bring him in for a kiss. Either way our couple gets all these options, but I think the last photo is the best. What do you think? Masking Tips in Caption 👇

Mask 1 - A.I. Subject Mask, perfect for selecting and highlighting the subject in the image. For this image I Increased the exposure, brought down the highlights, and brought up the shadows and added a touch of magenta tint. TIP: Using the AI subject mask is great for fixing skin tones that look a little off. Use the temp/tint sliders to do most of the heavy lifting.

Preset - Our custom Apartment colour preset

Mask 2 - Linear Gradient Mask, quick and perfect for selecting the sky against the building. Exposure was increased, while saturation was brought down so it’s not too blue. Linear gradients are great for walls or lines that are perfectly straight.

Mask 3 - Radial Gradient Mask, perfect for creating a soft warm glow around the subject. Only exposure was increased for this photo.

Mask 4 - Brush Mask, used for those tricky areas where AI, radial and linear masks won’t work well. Here I lowered the overall exposure and brought down the shadows.
